Title: Beyond the Tide: Language Education in the Age of AI

KEYNOTE: KATRINA GRIFFIN

Presenter: Katrina Griffin

Artificial intelligence is no longer a future prospect—it’s actively reshaping how we teach and learn languages. This keynote begins with a quick baseline of essential AI concepts before diving straight into practical, classroom-ready applications. Using real-world examples from digital platforms like Vista Higher Learning, we will explore how AI transforms instructional design, personalized feedback, differentiation, and student engagement. We’ll conclude by tackling the big questions: How will AI redefine "effective" language education, and what is our responsibility as educators in steering this evolution.
